Return, Refund and Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with ATTIRE MONK. Every item we make is custom-crafted for you. To keep things fair and simple, we only offer exchanges in the form of returns + store credit which can be used to order again. We do not offer cash refunds.

 

POLICY AT A GLANCE

  • No cash refunds — only store credit issued after a return.
  • To ‘exchange’ you must return the original item and place a new order with store credit.
  • All returns must meet our condition requirements (unworn, unused, tags, original packaging).
  • A flat Rs. 149/- will be deducted from the store credit as a return shipping / handling / restocking charge.
  • Damaged or defective items follow a different process — see the Damaged items section.

 

RETURN & EXCHANGE

We want your ATTIRE MONK experience to be smooth and stress-free. That’s why we follow a simple no-questions-asked exchange policy for eligible items.

A return is eligible for store credit (to be used for an exchange or future purchase) if all of the following are true:

  1. The item is returned in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with all tags attached, and in the original packaging.
  2. The return/exchange request is initiated within 3 days of delivery through your ATTIRE MONK account.
  3. The item is shipped back to us within the timeline provided in the return instructions.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue store credit to your ATTIRE MONK account equivalent to the invoiced price of the return item(s) after deducting Rs. 149/- (towards return shipping, handling, and restocking) within 7 business days after we receive and verify the return. Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued and can be used immediately to place a new order in any size, style, or design you prefer.

We reserve the right to decline a return if items show signs of wear, damage, missing tags, or are not in their original condition/packaging.

Please note that we do not offer cash refunds and/or bank transfers.

Exchanges are easy, flexible, and hassle-free — simply return your item and use your store credit to shop again, no questions asked.

 

DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE ITEMS

We offer exchanges in case you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item. Please follow the following process immediately:

  1. Record an unboxing video when you open the package — this helps us verify damage quickly. (We strongly recommend recording this for all deliveries.)
  2. Email attiremonkclothing@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery with:
    • Your order number
    • Photos/ videos showing the damage
    • The unboxing video (or a link to it) and any other supporting documentation
  3. We will review your submission. If the damage is verified by our team, we will:
    • Provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.
  4. After we receive the damaged / defective item at our warehouse and verify the same, we will:
    • Arrange an exchange, and
    • Send out a replacement item (subject to availability and our verification).

We reserve the right to refuse the exchange if damage cannot be verified (e.g., no unboxing video or if photos are insufficient).

 

TIMELINES & PROCESSING

  • Return request window: within 3 days of delivery.
  • Inspection & store credit issuance (after receiving return): up to 7 business days.
  • For exchanges initiated due to damage and approved by us: replacement shipping time depends on product availability and will be communicated in the approval email (we will aim to process these as quickly as possible).

 

EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS — 14-DAY COOLING-OFF

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you retain your statutory 14-day right to cancel. To comply with EU rules:

  • The item must be returned in its original, unused condition with proof of purchase.
  • Returns under the EU cooling-off period will receive store credit (no cash refunds).
  • For non-damaged returns under this right, Rs. 199/- will be deducted from the store credit as the restocking/handling fee.
  • For damaged/defective arrivals, the damaged-items process (no Rs. 199/- deduction) applies once damage is verified.
